Family Lawyer
I graduated in 2021 from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Psychological Science.
Throughout high school I knew that I wanted to pursue a career which was centred around helping people and that desire ultimately drove my pursuit of the study of psychology. I also had an older brother who worked as a solicitor and so I was as equally drawn to the intellectual challenge and critical thinking the field of law demanded.
To my great surprise I quickly grew to love the study of law during my initial years at University and I knew that this was the career path I wanted to pursue. The question then was ‘well what area’? After reflecting on this, it became obvious that the perfect fit for me was the practice of family law.
Guiding people through what is likely to be the most difficult and trying times of their lives resonated with my high school desire to make a positive difference. Providing comprehensive yet pragmatic solutions to clients’ complex legal matters, in a manner that is sensitive to and considerate of the difficult emotions they are experiencing, just seemed like the perfect fit for both my personality and the study path I had undertaken.
Each day I am incredibly grateful and proud to be working in such a rewarding space amongst a team of equally passionate and dedicated professionals.
